Blackberrys launches Spring Summer Collection 2014 | Men's Fashion

Blackberrys, the brand synonymous to sharp menswear has yet again added another feather to their cap with the latest Spring/Summer’14 collection. In continuance with the sharp dressed up look from Fall, the key looks for the season evolves from the satire of a very traditional British style to a more relaxed and lighter look of the Mediterranean. The elements of satire and quirk have been incorporated in a collection inspired by Sicily, the city known for its vibrant culture, lifestyle, architecture and fashion.

The Collection gives away a European flavor with a modern retro twist.  Quirky prints, restrained yet interesting mix of shades, suspenders and bow ties all find the right balance in this minimalist Mediterranean collection. Sandeep Khapra, Design Head, Blackberrys further elaborates, “With our Spring/Summer collection we’ve truly played with the quirky satirical aspect of menswear and the architecture, vibrancy and resort feel of the city of Sicily.Indigo and different shades of Blue dominate the collection and in prints, bow ties, have been used for the collection.”

Spring/ Summer collection features linens and light cottons as the main fabricand print-wise gingham checks, Prince of Wales window panes and mixed checks trace the textile story behind the collection. This season the brand also introduces new fits in trousers, jackets and shirts. Pleat added tapered trousers B99Y is a new introduction with roomy hip and narrow bottom. Another new fit is the B91 which is a tapered leg low waist fit.

Breaking the conventional norm, Blackberrys introduces unstructured jackets without the traditional components such as chest piece and shoulder pads. The rounded shoulders and lived-in look makes these a summer essential. For those with average height, the new fit in suits and jackets adds length to legs and makes one appear taller and slimmer. Blackberrys Spring/Summer’14 collection offers one of a wide range of options to choose from in khakis, white shirts, dress line trouserstrousers, suits and waist coats.
Fashion and innovation go hand-in-hand at Blackberrys, the new collection introduces the never seen before styles in various categories:
