Dress up 'Feminine and Chic'

People often tell me that my style is very lady like or feminine, as a compliment or not, each to his own right? It could be my choice of colors or outfits or my 'barely there' makeup. I have come to terms with my individualism and it's a great feeling, I never wanted to be someone else.. why, when I can be myself?

KAZO launched its flagship store in Bangalore yesterday and I was invited for the fabulous show at their brand new Indiranagar store. This is what I wore for the event.

I had to go for this event straight from work so I didn't have a lot of time or place to change. That's why I picked these high waist skinny pants in black with zipper detail and paired it with my pink sheer blouse with lace yoke. I love this pink and black combination because it looks so sophisticated and chic. I just had to tuck the blouse in and throw on some serious high heels to elevate the look and make it event appropriate. I choose to carry a structured bag in neutral (a special mention to the bow). I  had to bring myself to believe that people in Milan mostly wore ankle boots and I was ready!

Now, as quick tip to all of you who are terrible at work-life-fashion life balance. This could be a life saver if you have to attend multiple events or a fashion event right after work and don't have time and place to change. You can throw on a blazer and a statement necklace over your formals and survive a fashion show. Like me, you can just choose to change the blouse, tuck it in and change the shoes in less than a 2 minutes.
