Spring Look-book | 10 ways to wear Leather Jackets

Get over your fear of leather. A leather jacket can easily become one of the most versatile staples in your wardrobe. A clean fit black leather jacket with metallic accent is a must have for every season. If you are wondering if you should pack it away from your spring/summer closet, I say 'wait', because in this post we are going to show you 10 different ways of sporting your chic leather jacket.

I and my blogger friend Anusha of Anusha Outfitter picked up this fabulous leather jacket from Max on one of our shopping trips so we wanted to do a joint collaboration on how to wear it differently for similar occasions, keeping in mind our individual style aesthetics.

So, here are the looks

Look 1 - Casual Chic

Distressed jeans and black go like a match made in heaven, I paired this look with my leather jacket and funky glasses for a casual day out with friends. The white wedge trainers are the most comfortable heels in my shoe closet to wear while running errands and for long days.

Anusha wore her casual dress in mint. For more details of her look visit her blog here

Spring is all about bright hues, lace, light fabric and prints. This yellow lace top with pleated midi skirt and the leather jacket is perfect for brunch with my girlfriends. Lace is one of the most comfortable spring wardrobe staple. Midi skirts have been trending since last fall and is still a favorite of many fashionistas around the world. I picked up this midi skirt from a vintage shop.

Anusha picked a high-low hemline skirt. I love the color on her! For more details of her look visit her blog here

These strappy sandals have been in my shoe closet for a while now and I absolutely love wearing these on almost everything.

I wanted to wear my leather jacket to create very different looks to show you all how versatile it is. This peach color maxi dress screams spring and when worn with this jacket makes my look polished yet feminine. I love the flowy fabric and how it fits on my body. I went with side swept hair and minimal heels for a softer look.

Anusha picked a short number in nude color. For more details of her look visit her blog here
